Salta, Argentina: Quebrada de Escoipe

From Salta, throught the Valle de Lerma with its tobacco plantations, the road travels through the the quebrada. In this view, abundant vegetation covers the hillsides and the stream banks. As the road climbs in altitude, the climate becomes drier, with cactus replacing this vegetation.
