- 5 papas picadas en cuadros pequeños - 5 potatoes chopped in small chunks
- ajo - garlic, chopped
- cebolla roja - red onion , chopped
- leche - milk
- 1 cucharada de mantequilla - 1 tablespoon of butter
- aguacate - avocado
- 4 tazas de agua - 4 cups of water
Add the potatoes to boiling water and cook until tender. Saute the garlic and onion in butter until transparent. Puree the onion and garlic and add to the soup, add salt and pepper to taste. Just before serving, add milk to the desired consistency. Slice the avocado and place a slice on each serving.
Note:
Instant mashed potatoes are a quick and easy substitute.
