Stanley, Falkland Islands

Stanley is the capital of the Falkland Islands, also called Islas Malvinas, and faces northeast on East Falkland island, the largest of the island group. It is a busy seaport, a port of call for cruise ships, and the gateway to wildlife viewing. It is sometimes called Port Stanley, and offers a larger selection of places to stay and eat.
Gypsy Cove
Only four miles from Stanley, Gypsy Cove's "main attraction is a colony of some 300 pairs of Magellanic penguins which nest in burrows dug into the soft, peaty soil between the tussock grass."
