Day 6 brings another Tree Mail, this time to the Immunity Challenge which turns out to be a Tug of War through a mud hole. All members, except Brianna who sits our for the Yaxha tribe, are tethered to a common rope and in addition to strength, the players may use strategy to interfere with the other tribe. At the end of 15 minutes, if there is no winner, there will be a series of 1 on 1 5 minute showdowns, until one tribe gets to their rope 3 times. At the end of the time limit, there is a stalemate and the tribes choose their players. Judd goes up against Gary first. In the midst of their match, Danni announces Gary is an ex-quarterback, startling all the other players. He tackles Judd, but Judd wins their match. Next, Brandon and Jamie go at it. Brandon makes a move that backfires but nonetheless manages to pull Jamie back and get the rope. Its Nakúm 2 ahead when Judd takes on Jamie. It looks like nothing will happen as Jeff counts down the time, but then, Judd makes a sudden move and gets his rope.
Nakúm wins Immunity! Judd is the hero he wants to be.
Yaxha goes back to camp dispirited and as they clean up, discuss the coming Tribal Council. Rafe is philosophical about their loss, but Jamie puts Stephanie up for eviction. Gary counters, saying either Morgan or Lydia should go. Stephanie, when she hears the men are thinking of voting her out, is detemined to stay and refuses to go early. Gary wants to keep her as a strong player. The tribe questions Gary about being a football player, which he denies, but is perturbed at Dannis announcement. Evidently as a sportscaster, she's recognized him. The men now discuss voting out either Morgan or Lydia. Morgan does nothing in camp, but showed well in the challenge. Lydia isnt that strong a player, but she works hard, and as Brian stresses, hasn't lost any competitions for the tribe.
Gary, Stephanie, Amy and Rafe confer, discussing their options. Brian wants to keep Lydia, and tells her about the discussions while shes grinding corn on a stone as the ancient Mayas once did. She then talks to Gary, telling him she wants to stay but Gary says nothing.
At Tribal Council that night, the Yaxha tribe gets their torches lit as host Jeff Probst reminds them that fire is life. When their torch goes out, theyre out of the game. He then questions Stephanie about her reception by the tribe. Shes pleased, but obviously worried. Jamie mentions she plays like a guy, and Lydia avers that while Steph is the best female athlete, she herself can endure and wont give up. When asked, Morgan answers that the tribe is unified, and they all know who is going home. Rafe says hes voting based on keeping the tribal unity. It will be a crushing blow to lose whoever is going home, but they can move on with the game.
Following the vote, Morgan is blindsided to hear that by a vote of 5 to 1, shes the second person to be voted out. She leaves and in her farewell message, says she never saw her ouster coming, but the experience was worth it. With the new addition of a message from a family member, this time from Morgans parents who look forward to seeing her again, Episode 2 ends.
