Double, double, toil and trouble

By Bonnie Hamre, About.com

Meanwhile, the Nakúm-ians enjoy their feast, trading among themselves even as they lament taht having to go to Tribal Council takes a little away from their second challenge wiin. Judd and Jamie agree to vote Margaret out. Judd's comments about her become increasingly rude and strident as he feels confident about himself, calling himself one of the "big guys around here."

In return, Margaret calls Judd offensive and his own biggest enemy. Cindy agrees, calling him inconsiderate.

They notice that someone has taken someone else's beer. Judd says that whoever did it should go home that night, but fingers are poiinted at him. He shrugs it off, saying he won the reward for them and if they don't like it, they can kiss his, ah, posterior.

Nakúm Tribe has the first Tribal Council. They discuss their feast, the beer issue and Judd states he traded food for beer. When asked about the fight with Bobby-Jon, Jamie shrugs it off, saying he was celebrating, and Bobby-Jon hates losing. Jeff asks them if they are good sports. Margaret begins to answer, but Judd interrupts, something he does every time one of the other players begins to speak. Margaret scolds him for not being able to control his mouth or his trash talk and calls him a bully.

Jeff asks the others how the hostility between Judd and Margaret affects the tribe. Cindy says the negativity isn't good and when Rafe begins to answer a direct quesstion from Jeff, Judd interrupts again and goes after Margaret again, complaining that she'd said he had ADD when they first met, and goes on and on about it, interrupting Jeff again who is saying that he's never seen anything like the mutual hostility between Judd and Margaret, who is still angry with Judd for betraying his old tribe to cozy up to Steph and Jamie. Rafe finally gets to answer Jeff's question, denying that Judd intimidates him. In spite of his tribe members trying to tone down his remarks, Judd continues to bully and insult Margaret.

Steph speaks up for Judd, saying that his decision to swtich was his recognition that the game had changed. Jeff asks if they get rid of the "bad apple," will they be okay? The tribe must choose between Judd's bombastic attitude or Margaret's despondent attitude. Voting begins and Margaret votes for Judd, no surprise, terming him a bully, self-righteous and profane. Judd retruns the sentiment, saying Margaret needs to "get out now." When Jeff reads the votes, Margaret is voted out 4-1 and Judd smirks as her torch is extinguished.

Jeff comments that if they've gotten rid of the bad apple, they should be happy now. But will they?

In the Family Moment, Margaret's family say she'll always be their survivor, and to come home soon because they're hungry. Margaret leaves, saying, "Best wishes to my Nakúm tribe. I think a lot of the tension will be gone now, but I think they will have a lot of trouble with Judd."

When Yaxhá arrives at Tribal Council, their demeanor is completely different. Rafe sits on the jury bench and listens intently to all the comments. When asked, Bobby-Jon says he and Jamie were like two bulls in a ring, with too much testosterone flowing. He goes on to praise Brian as a good player, both physical and mental, then adds that Brian is a "good ole boy" and would make a great neighbor. Brian smiles happily.

The tribe agrees that the Nakúm-ians are good sports, and Amy makes light of her ankle injury. Brandon comments how impressed he is with Amy's actions, going at it, and rising above the odds. After all the praising back and forth, the group is ready to vote, but before they do, Jeff announces one more twist. Rafe has the ability to grant one person immunity that night. He sends Rafe to the voting booth to write the name on a paper, seal it in an envelope, and leave. The tribe votes, and stuns Brian by voting him off, 5-1 vote for Bobby-Jon. Jeff then opens the envelope, telling Brian he has one chance to stay, but the nmae in the enveloope is not his, but Gary's. Bobby-Jon says Brian has given 110% in camp, but Jeff tells him he'd done a good job of "pumping Brian up, then cutting his throat."

Brian's family sends him a message that they know he must be hot, hungry and tired, but they miss him and all is well at home.
