On their own again, the Yaxhá-ites congratulate themselves on their "good momentum," but Amy realizes she's vulnerable if they don't win the Immunity Challenge. She worries that Gary may be lying to her about their alliance and confronts him about his identity, which he continues to deny. She says if she finds out that he really is an ex-football player, she's going to "kick his ass if he's been playing her," but Gary won't give in.
Amy knows the Umminity Challenge is about the numbers: if her tribe doesn't win, they're down another player. When the merge comes, they will have fewer Yaxhá players than the Nakúm tribe. Bobby-Jon agrees, saying this is their biggest day yet. "This is it!"
The Immunity Challenge is a race to find 12 puzzle pieces in the sand, and when all are found, assemble them in a puzzle based on the Mayan calendar. Lydia sits out for Nakúm and the scramble is on. As the easier pieces are found, the scrabble to find more and get them back to the finish line becomes more intense. The tribes are tied at 10, but then Nakúm gets all their pieces and begins the puzzle. Here is where teamwork and cool heads prevail, and Nakúm keeps their lead, even as Yaxhá begins to catch up, and wins the Immunity Reward. Exchanging jubilant hugs, they know they've worked together as they could not in the Reward Challenge. Rafe and Steph exchange huge smiles, The Yaxhá tribe leaves, knowing they face Tribal Council.
Day 18 has the Yaxhá-ites devastated by their loss. Amy laments both for herelf and the tribe. She talks with Danni, looking for reassurance that she has a shot with the men. Danni suggests voting Bobby-Jon off since he has already had a chance at the million dollar prize and the others are more deserving of the chance to stay. Amy agrees.
Amy talks to Gary, who says he's willing to vote off Bobby-Jon if Danni is, and then to Brandon who has an alliance with Bobby-Jon. Brandon is conflicted, and reflects on alliances and strategy. The situation takes "a toll on his mind."
At the Tribal Council, Danni says they have all bonded and this will be a difficult vote. Gary agrees, saying they are all "tight" after shared experiences. Amy says this is "da bomb" and adds she loves everybody. Brandon says the voitng is getting ugly and when he mentions that it is hard to justify a vote with some people deserving to stay, Bobby-Jon almost gets whiplash as his turns to stare in shock at his ally. Bobby-Jon stresses how fortunate he is to get a second chance, something that doens't usually happen. Danni adds that keeping her word is hard.
Amy votes first, casting her vote for Bobby-Jon, but the vote runs 4-1 against her, and she is the eight person voted out of Survivor 11. She leaves with her family saying they are proud of her and "Come home in one piece."
Jeff announces that the tribe, now down to four, is to drop their buffs and head over to the Nakúm camp where they will distribute the new red buffs to the rest of the merged tribe. All their belongings and reward items will be delivered to the Nakúm camp where all 10 members of the new tribe are to decide on a new tribal name. It's another surprise!
