Immunity Challenge: Bridge It

From The Original Survivors

Tree Mail brings word of the Immunity Challenge which will involve balance, dexterity and coordination. Several of the group, Gary and Danni practice on a step of the ruin and Rafe tries out a log, which he falls off.

The challenge itself is in three parts. The first part has everyone crossing a balanceIf anyone falls, they must start over again and only four players will go on to the second part. Steph, Gary, Jamie and Rafe make it to the next platform. From here, they have to use their planks to make steps across two ropes to make a bridge. Again, any one who falls has to start over. Only the first two will go on the the third part of the challenge. Rafe works out a system and he and Jamie make it to the second platform. The last part has them using two ropes, one under their feet, one at chest height, to make it the the finish line. Rafe falls and Jamie pulls ahead to win Immunity. Jamie is safe from Tribal Council.

They return to camp where Steph and Gary agree they are both competitive and hate to lose. Jamie, Steph, Rafe and Judd agree to vote Gary off. As Steph says, Gary is always in game mode and is a huge physical threat. {p] Gary knows he is also a huge target. He is 33% sure he's going home next. He talks to Steph again, asking if he can trust her. She looks him in the eye and says yes, and when he asks her to let him know if he is the one being voted out, she agrees. In fact, she tells him it's not him being voted out next.

Gary sets out to hunt for the hidden idol. While he's gone, Bobby-Jon, Jamie and Judd get together and talk about Steph. They agree to vote her out and Judd and Jamie assure Bobby-Jon he's not going home that night. Bobby-Jon grumbles that Steph will lie to anyone's face and smile when she's doing it.

Meanwhile, Judd is out hunting for the idol. Gary follows him and sees him looking up, not at the ground where he'd said the idol was visible. Now he knows that Judd lied to them all. Back in camp, Steph tells the others that it would be amazing if Gary finds the idol.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asks the players how important ethics are in their game. Can they trust anyone?

Danni says no. Rafe explains about the paranoia in camp and cautions everyone to keep their focus. Gary says each individual has to make a decision. When Jeff asks Gary if he's lied, Gary keeps a straight face and lies, saying no. Cindy waffles a bit. She'd like to trust but knows that all will lie. Judd denies ever having lied and Jamie when asked if he'd give the Immunity Necklance to someone else, decides to keep it for himself.

Jeff then says that if anyone has found the idol, and wishes to use it for safety from being voted out, now's the time. There is a small pause, and then Gary stands and hands it over to Jeff. The others gasp in suprise, but now both Gary and Jamie are safe from Tribal Council. It's anybody's guess who will be voted out.

The voting begins. Jamie votes for Bobby-Jon, who votes for Steph, who votes for Bobby-Jon. Danni also votes for Steph, and when Jeff reads the votes, Steph's name comes up immediately. Cindy gets one vote from Gary, but it is Bobby-Jon who is blind-sided and voted off with five votes. He is the tenth player to leave and the first member of the jury. He leaves, thanking Jeff and saying he enjoyed the experience. He'd wanted to be on the jury, and as Jeff sends the remaining eight Survivors back to camp, he reminds them that the next phase of the game will have them lying to they jury.

In the Family Moment, Bobby-Jon's family praises him and sends him love. Bobby-Jon admits he's surprised, but he's had an amazing adventure.
