These reed boats seem to be observing visitors coming and going to the floating island.

Younger people are leaving the islands for work on the mainlands of Peru and bolivia, but many hope to earn enough money to return to the area, if not to islands themselves.

As visitors leaving the floating islands, one can only wonder at the pace and tranquility of living on an island, between the water and the sky.
