Lapataia Bay, Tierra del Fuego National Park

ArtToday.com
This spot in the Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego looking out over the water to the mountains beyond is a serene place to contemplate the wonders of nature.

Be aware that the winds in the region can almost knock you off your feet. The marine climate is somewhat mild, but very changeable. Locals say you can experience all four seasons in one day. Dress accordingly. Be cautious with the sun. This area is unfortunately under the ozone hole and can be very dangerous to the skin. Wear sunblock, a hat and sunglasses.

Lapataia Bay is as far south as you can go on Argentina national route 3. It is 3242 km from Buenos Aires.
