After scrambling through the vegetation, the teams find directions to Bahia Lapataia, where they are to take a boat to Isla Redonda.

About 150 miles long and about three miles wide at its narrowest point, the Beagel Channel named for HMS Beagle. It separates Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego from several smaller islands to the south, and Chile from Argentina.

The main settlements on the channel are Puerto Williams, Chile and Ushuaia, Argentina.
